Description

ELECTRICAL JOURNEYMAN – MULTIPLE POSITIONS AVAIL

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Journeyman for long-term, full-time work primarily on new apartment building construction, along with residential projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Electrical installation for ground-up multifamily construction, from rough through finish.
Install MC cable, EMT/conduit, panels, feeders, branch circuits, lighting, receptacles, switches, and equipment.
Read and work from electrical plans, specifications, and one-line diagrams.
Perform unit rough-in, common-area, electrical room, garage, and site electrical work.
Install and terminate panels, disconnects, transformers, and other equipment.
Troubleshoot and correct electrical issues.
Follow NEC, local codes, plans, and safety requirements.
Coordinate with foremen, project management, inspectors, and other trades.
Perform residential electrical work as assigned.

RESIDENTIAL PRODUCTION WORK

Most repetitive residential production work will be piece-rate/pieced out, allowing qualified electricians to earn based on completed production. Pricing and scope will be established before work begins.

QUALIFICATIONS

California General Electrician Certification/Journeyman-level experience preferred.
Strong new-construction experience, preferably multifamily/apartments.
Ability to read plans and work independently.
Knowledge of NEC and standard construction practices.
Experience with MC, EMT, panels, feeders, lighting, and branch circuits.

Must have appropriate hand tools and reliable transportation.

Reliable, productive, and committed to quality work.

Position: Full-Time / Long-Term

Primary Work: New Apartment Construction
Additional Work: Residential Construction
Compensation: Competitive hourly pay with piece-rate opportunities for residential production work.
