ELECTRICAL OFFICE POSITION — SAGE 100 CONTRACTOR EXPERIENCE

Do you know electrical parts and materials? Have experience using Sage 100 Contractor? West Coast Wiring is looking for an organized, dependable person to join our office team.
We are a busy electrical contractor looking for someone who understands the electrical trade, is comfortable working on a computer, and enjoys helping keep projects organized and moving forward.
ABOUT THE POSITION
This is an office-based position supporting the owner and our purchasing and operations team. Responsibilities include:

• Working in Sage 100 Contractor and maintaining accurate project information.
• Helping prepare purchase orders and organize material pricing.
• Requesting vendor quotes and comparing electrical material costs.
• Tracking orders and following up with suppliers.
• Helping prepare estimates and proposals. We can teach our estimating process.
• Organizing project paperwork and assisting with everyday office tasks.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Experience using Sage 100 Contractor.
• A working knowledge of electrical parts, materials, and terminology.
• Good computer skills and accurate data entry.
• Dependability, organization, and follow-through.
• A positive, respectful attitude and the ability to work well with our office and field teams.
• Willingness to learn our procedures and take ownership of assigned tasks.

Residential electrical experience is a plus. Familiarity with audio/video, low-voltage systems, or home automation is also welcome, but not required.
Previous estimating experience is welcome, but we can teach our estimating process. Our priorities are Sage 100 Contractor experience and electrical material knowledge.

Experience working for an electrical contractor or electrical supply house is especially relevant. An electrician background combined with Sage experience could also be a good fit.
Location: Santa Ana, CA
Schedule: 8:00am- 4:30pm (flexable if needed)
Compensation: $30-$40
