Duties

Lead the coordination and management of electrical construction projects from inception through completion, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
Review and interpret construction drawings, schematics, and blueprints to ensure accurate implementation of electrical systems aligned with project specifications.
Oversee the permitting phase, ensuring all necessary approvals are obtained in compliance with local codes and NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code).
Manage project schedules using software and Project Management tools to ensure timely delivery of milestones.
Conduct construction site inspections, review safety protocols, and ensure adherence to NEC (National Electrical Code) standards and electrical building codes.
Collaborate with clients, contractors, engineers, and team members to facilitate seamless project execution while maintaining high-quality standards.
Control project costs by monitoring budgets, managing contracts, reviewing change orders, and utilizing construction estimating software like HeavyBid.
Review construction drawings and schematics for accuracy; coordinate construction schedule adjustments as needed for optimal workflow.
Ensure all electrical systems are installed according to specifications, NFPA 70 compliance, and industry best practices.
Lead team efforts in managing large-scale electrical projects by providing guidance, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining clear communication channels.
Experience

Proven experience managing large-scale electrical projects within the construction industry with a strong background in electrical engineering or related fields.
Extensive knowledge of electrical systems design, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and system integration.
Proficiency in project management software such as Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word), ProCore, Bluebeam, and other relevant tools.
Familiarity with construction estimating techniques and cost management strategies using software like Vision.
Hands-on experience with construction scheduling, project coordination, contract management, and construction site supervision.
Deep understanding of electrical codes including NEC standards and NFPA 70 regulations; involved in permitting phases for various projects.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively while fostering a safety-conscious work environment.
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently across multiple projects simultaneously.
Knowledge of electrical blueprint reading and schematics is essential for accurate installation oversight.
