Pay: $30.00–$40.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 7:00 AM–4:00 PM
Location: Arizona – Dispatch from Home
Experience Required: 4+ years preferred
About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Service Technician
This position will perform skilled electrical work across both service/maintenance and new installation projects, with an anticipated 50/50 mix. The technician may also support larger electrical projects as business needs require.
The ideal candidate has strong troubleshooting skills, hands-on electrical service experience, and the ability to work independently while providing professional service to residential and commercial customers.

Responsibilities
Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems in residential and commercial environments.
Service electrical wiring, breakers, panels, conduits, lighting systems, circuits, and related components.
Diagnose electrical problems and determine safe, efficient solutions.
Perform both electrical service/maintenance work and new installations.
Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and other technical documentation.
Install and repair electrical systems in new and existing buildings, including system upgrades and modifications.
Use electrical meters, diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and power tools to complete installations and repairs.
Test electrical systems following installation or repair to verify safe and proper operation.
Perform preventive maintenance and identify potential issues before they result in equipment or system failures.
Maintain compliance with applicable local, state, and national electrical codes and regulations.
Coordinate with other trades on commercial projects and jobs involving overlapping building systems.
Requisition materials and supplies from the stockroom or vendors as needed.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Keep company vehicles clean and properly maintained.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures, particularly when working around live electrical systems and hazardous conditions.
Participate in an on-call rotation as required.
Work overtime when needed based on workload and customer requirements.
Perform additional electrical duties and support larger projects as assigned.
Qualifications
4+ years of electrical field experience preferred, with hands-on electrical service and troubleshooting experience.
Previous experience as an Electrical Service Technician, Service Electrician, or similar role.
Service experience is required; candidates with installation-only backgrounds may not be the right fit for this position.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, panels, breakers, circuits, conduits, and related components.
Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems independently.
Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
Knowledge of applicable electrical codes and safe work practices.
Experience working in residential and/or commercial environments.
Valid driver's license.
Strong verbal communication and customer service skills.
Ability to communicate professionally with customers, coworkers, vendors, and other trades.
Ability to work independently and manage a daily service schedule.
Ability to work effectively in demanding environments and maintain a high level of performance.
Work Environment
This is a hands-on field position. Work may be performed indoors and outdoors and may involve cramped, dusty, dirty, hot, or cold environments. Technicians must follow appropriate safety procedures when working around live electrical wiring, energized equipment, and other potentially hazardous conditions.
Schedule & Travel
The typical schedule is approximately 7:00 AM–4:00 PM. Technicians will generally dispatch directly from home to assigned service calls and project locations.
Overtime may be available or required depending on business needs. This position also participates in on-call coverage.
