Pay Rate: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour

Shift Options:

  • 1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
  • 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM

Overview

Our client, a leader in electronic manufacturing and testing, is seeking an Electrical Test Technician to support production operations through testing, troubleshooting, and quality verification of enterprise electrical equipment. This role offers an opportunity to work with advanced power distribution systems while collaborating with engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

  • Test and verify functionality of Static Switches, UPS systems, RPPs, and PDUs.
  • Troubleshoot electrical and electronic equipment to identify and resolve issues.
  • Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.
  • Utilize electronic test equipment including oscilloscopes, power meters, and related diagnostic tools.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams to resolve technical issues.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and manufacturing process enhancements.
  • Maintain accurate testing and production documentation.
  • Follow established safety, quality, and operational procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment using 6S principles.
  • Provide technical support to manufacturing operations as needed.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technology, or related field; equivalent work experience considered.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience testing and troubleshooting electronic or electrical equipment.
  • Experience working with high-voltage or three-phase electrical systems preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
  • Experience using electrical testing and diagnostic equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with basic computer systems and documentation processes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with high-power electrical systems ranging from 208V to 600V.
  • Manufacturing or production testing experience.
  • Knowledge of power distribution equipment, UPS systems, or switchgear.
  • Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Monday through Friday

Available Shifts:

  • 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
  • 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM

Weekend and overtime opportunities may be available based on business needs.
