Electrician -Apprentice

Design Electrical is a commercial/industrial electrical contractor based in Auburn, CA with over 35 years’ experience in the industry in Northern CA and Northern NV. We are looking for reliable, responsible and conscientious workers that are interested in learning the electrical trade through a training program and work experience in the field to become a CA certified electrician.

Requirements:

• Apprentice level electrician with minimum of 2 years work experience in the field
• In an approved apprenticeship program or be willing to sign up in an Electrical Training Technician program through WECA
• Valid CA driver’s license required
• Willing to work out of town/overnight as needed
• Drug test & criminal background check required prior to employment
• Reliable transportation to/from job site
• Physical stamina to lift heavy equipment and materials, climb ladders, and work in tight and/or elevated work spaces
• Mechanically inclined and have own hand tools for the electrical trade
• Good communication skills, positive attitude, safety oriented
