Duties and Responsibilities

• Execute plans of electrical wiring for lighting, outlets, HVAC, low voltage, fire and other electrical systems
• Install electrical apparatus, fixtures and equipment and other systems
• Install electrical distribution components (e.g. switches, circuit-breaker panels etc.)
• Connect wiring in electrical circuits and panels ensuring compatibility of components
• Prepare and assemble conduit boxes and connect wiring through them
• Install controls and control wiring for lighting and other power systems/fire alarm

Qualifications:

• Apprentice License
• Valid Drivers License
• Experience in commercial electrical systems, multi-family a plus
• Ability to read blueprints and transpose to the electrical layout of the building preferred
• Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g. wire strippers, voltmeter etc.) and electrical drawings and blueprints
• Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines
• Ability to meet the schedule and flexibility to work Mon-Thu 10 hours a day, occasional overtime.
