- Execute plans of electrical wiring for lighting, outlets, HVAC, low voltage, fire and other electrical systems
- Install electrical apparatus, fixtures and equipment and other systems
- Install electrical distribution components (e.g. switches, circuit-breaker panels etc.)
- Connect wiring in electrical circuits and panels ensuring compatibility of components
- Prepare and assemble conduit boxes and connect wiring through them
- Install controls and control wiring for lighting and other power systems/fire alarm
- Apprentice License
- Valid Drivers License
- Experience in commercial electrical systems, multi-family a plus
- Ability to read blueprints and transpose to the electrical layout of the building preferred
- Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g. wire strippers, voltmeter etc.) and electrical drawings and blueprints
- Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines
- Ability to meet the schedule and flexibility to work Mon-Thu 10 hours a day, occasional overtime.
