Electrician Wanted

Santa Cruz Electric is a local Electrical Construction Company, is a locally based Electrical Company focused on Serving the Santa Cruz Area, Watsonville, Aptos, Scotts Valley, Etc. We currently don't work outside of Santa Cruz Area. We work on residential rewires, residential new construction, troubleshooting, wiring pumps, etc.

Commercial work on office buildings, industrial compounds, restaurants, schools, attending to whatever needs they may have..

Solar knowledge helpful, Backup battery systems, Solar Installations...

PGE Service Changes, PGE underground occasionally, any and all things necessary to install electrical installations into buildings.

We are hiring an electrician position to either work alongside 1-2 others or independently depending on the job and or experience level. Looking for someone who is motivated to grow their career in the Electrical Trade. Motivated to learn more and move up in the trade.
Someone with a least 2 years in construction experience, carpentry skills are highly desired. If you have a strong background in carpentry and would like to transition into electrical?

Responsibilities:
-Effective time management to execute on goals for each day/job
-Adheres to established policies and procedures relating to job functions and company operations
-Seeks guidance when encountering unfamiliar tasks or issues, according to established procedures
-Communicate information internally and externally to support operations
-Ability to work independently and on a team
-Construction Skills-digging, drilling, cutting, running basic tools, etc.
Operate company vehicles when necessary.
Company Van available to the right candidate after entry period etc.

Qualifications:
-Minimum 2 years experience in Electrical/Construction
-Open to Carpenter's who have high motivation to pursue electrical work(must have strong basic skill set)
-Open to Mid Level to Highly Skilled Electrician Pay Based on Experience
-Valid CA driver's license with a clean driving record
-Ability to operate and maintain various tools and equipment, such as drills, saws, hydraulic cuttings, tuggers, etc
-Physical stamina and strength to lift up to 50+ pounds and perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions
-Punctual and dependable
-Highly organized and able to work independently
-Problem-solving: Demonstrated ability to assess situations and find solutions
-Great customer service
-Strong knowledge of basic construction and electrical systems
-Willingness to be trained and study electrical systems
-Physical Requirements:
-Lift up to 50 lbs
-Stand for up to 10 hours
-Stoop, kneel, bend, crouch
-Lift overhead
-Ascend or descend ladders to 20'-30' at times
-Use lifts/man lifts, scaffolding, etc.
