Electrician

Location: Cedar Rapids, Iowa

Job Summary

As an Electrician, you will play a crucial role in supporting our company's projects and clients. Working closely with our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems, while ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Blueprint, schematic, and single-line reading
  • Cable pulling and management
  • Circuit analysis
  • Conduit bending and installation
  • Electrical theory (Ohm's Law, AC/DC fundamentals)
  • Lighting systems (LED, HID) and controls
  • Panel installation and breaker work
  • Variable frequency drives (VFDs) setup
  • Foreman / Master Electrician: 8+ years of experience, providing full project oversight, design input, and client liaison
  • Journeyman Electrician: 2–5+ years of experience, capable of independent work and most installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting tasks
  • Junior / Entry Electrician: 0–2 years of experience, able to perform routine tasks independently with some oversight
Qualifications
  • Appropriate level of experience as an Electrician (Junior/Entry, Journeyman, or Foreman/Master)
  • MUST BE LICENSED IN THE STATE OF IOWA.
  • Proficiency in the skills listed in the Key Responsibilities
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Working Conditions
This role will involve working in various commercial and industrial settings, with the potential for travel to client sites. The work may require standing, climbing, and lifting heavy equipment.
The jobsite is a Data Center.

Compensation and Benefits

Pay is DOE
$178/day Per diem
