Electricians needed - Residential

Superior Skilled Trades seeking an experienced and dependable Residential Electrician to join our team for a project in Indian Trail, NC.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing residential electrical systems. This position requires strong knowledge of electrical codes, safe work practices, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

PAY: $21.00–$24.00/hour (based upon experience)

HOURS: 7:00 AM-4:30PM

SCHEDULE: Expected work will be Monday–Friday; approximately 40+ hours/week

START DATE: ASAP

DURATION: This is anticipated to be a temp‑to‑permanent position

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair residential electrical systems
Install wiring, outlets, switches, lighting fixtures, panels, breakers, and electrical equipment
Perform electrical service upgrades and panel replacements
Run and terminate electrical wiring through walls, ceilings, attics, crawl spaces, and other areas
Install and troubleshoot lighting, receptacles, GFCI/AFCI devices, smoke detectors, and other electrical components
Diagnosing electrical problems using meters and testing equipment
Read and interpret electrical plans, blueprints, and diagrams
Perform rough-in and finish electrical work on new construction and remodeling projects
Ensure all work complies with applicable electrical codes and safety requirements
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Communicate professionally with homeowners, contractors, and other trades
Complete work efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship
Follow company safety procedures and OSHA requirements

Qualifications

Previous residential electrical experience preferred

Knowledge of residential wiring methods and electrical systems
Ability to read blueprints and electrical diagrams
Familiarity with NEC requirements and local electrical codes
Experience using electrical hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment
Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues safely and efficiently
Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication and customer-service skills
Must be able to perform job duties that require standing, crouching, twisting upper body, working at heights, and lifting up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
Position requires the use of PPE, including: Steel-Toe work boots, safety vest, hard hat, safety glasses, and gloves. Must have standard electrical hand tools.

Preferred Qualifications

Journeyman Electrician license

Electrical apprenticeship or technical training
OSHA certification
Experience with new residential construction, remodeling, and service work
