BoatMat Corporation is expanding and looking for experienced Commercial Embroidery Machine Operators to join our Fort Lauderdale production team.

For more than three decades, BoatMat has manufactured premium custom products for the yachting, marine, commercial and luxury markets.

IMPORTANT — THIS IS NOT GARMENT EMBROIDERY.

BoatMat does NOT embroider shirts, hats, jackets, uniforms or garments of any kind.

Our embroidery operation is 100% FLAT EMBROIDERY ON CUSTOM MATS.

This is specialized production work using commercial embroidery equipment on matting materials. The materials, sizes, handling techniques and production methods are different from traditional garment embroidery.

If your experience is primarily with shirts, hats or garments, your commercial embroidery-machine experience provides a valuable foundation — but flat embroidery on custom mats will be a NEW SKILL.

WE WILL TRAIN YOU.

You do NOT need previous experience embroidering mats. We are looking for people who already understand how to operate commercial embroidery equipment and who are willing and able to learn our specialized flat-embroidery production methods.

You are NOT being hired to digitize embroidery designs. Our primary need is experienced MACHINE OPERATORS who can learn our specialized mat-production process.

Our clean, air-conditioned production facility is located in the Marina Mile area of Fort Lauderdale, approximately TWO BLOCKS FROM THE BUS LINE.

EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Commercial embroidery machine experience
• Multi-needle commercial embroidery machine experience
• Experience operating commercial embroidery equipment
• Understanding of commercial embroidery machine operation
• Ability to work accurately with embroidery equipment
• Attention to detail
• Strong finished-product quality standards
• Commercial or industrial embroidery production experience

WHAT WE WILL TEACH YOU:

• Flat embroidery on custom mats
• Working with our specialized matting materials
• Proper handling and positioning of custom mats
• BoatMat production techniques and procedures
• Our specialized quality-control standards

This is NOT apparel production.

We do NO garment embroidery.

All embroidery production at BoatMat is specialized FLAT EMBROIDERY ON CUSTOM MATS.

TOP PAY BASED ON EXPERIENCE.

Compensation will be discussed during the interview based on experience, skills and capabilities.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced commercial embroidery machine operator who wants to learn a specialized production skill in a unique industry.

Conversational English is required for workplace communication and safety. Perfect or fluent English is NOT required.
