Embroidery Operator - 2 Years Experience Required

Do you have 2 years of professional embroidery operator experience in the apparel industry? If so, we want to meet you! We are a rapidly growing screen print and embroidery company looking for qualified candidates to help in our embroidery department. We are hiring for the day shift and the night shift.

Day Shift

Monday-Friday 6:00a - 2:30p

Night Shift

Monday-Friday 2:20p - 11:00p

You must have at least 2 years of professional embroidery experience in the apparel industry to be considered for this position. The right person for this position will have an eye for detail and value contributing to a culture of accuracy.

PLEASE NOTE: Experience operating other types of machinery does not meet the requirements for this role. Only professional embroidery operator experience within the apparel industry will be considered. Because this position requires immediate proficiency, training on embroidery machine operation is not provided.

Tasks Include but are not limited to:

Embroidery, hooping, thread changes, and running the machine

Track and prepare supplies for upcoming orders
Time and track all tasks
Read and understand work orders
Continue to research sewing and embroidery to improve our quality, efficiencies, skill, and overall knowledge

THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED:

2 years of professional apparel embroidery experience is mandatory
6 months of embroidery operator experience is mandatory
Must be a current resident in San Diego county or have a date for your move here.
Reliable form of transportation
Lift and/or move up to 70lbs at times
Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
Regularly stand for long periods of time while reaching with hands and arms
Specific vision abilities include sharp vision, focus, depth perception, and the ability to identify colors
Ability to read, write and comprehend complex written or oral instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English
