EPDM Flat Roofing & Repair Specialist

EPDM Flat Roofing & Repair Specialist

Kaufman Roofing | Twin Cities, MN
Full-Time | $25–$35/hour, based on experience

Kaufman Roofing is looking for an experienced EPDM flat roofing professional who takes pride in craftsmanship, knows how to solve problems, and is looking for a long-term career.

This isn't a large commercial production-roofing position.

Most of our flat roofing work consists of smaller residential roofs, additions, porches, repairs, and detailed low-slope applications. We're looking for someone who understands EPDM and knows that the details around walls, penetrations, transitions, edges and flashing are what make the difference between a roof that simply looks finished and one that stays watertight.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who:

• Has hands-on EPDM installation and repair experience
• Understands membrane installation, seams, flashing, terminations and waterproofing details
• Can diagnose leaks and troubleshoot unusual roof conditions
• Can look at a difficult detail and determine the right way to handle it
• Takes pride in clean, professional workmanship
• Pays attention to the small details
• Is dependable and comfortable working independently when needed
• Communicates professionally with coworkers, project managers and homeowners
• Wants a long-term career, not just another roofing job

Experience with TPO, other roofing systems or sheet metal is a plus, but not required.

What You'll Be Doing

• Installing EPDM rubber roofing systems on residential low-slope and flat roofs
• Completing detailed flashing work around walls, penetrations, transitions, chimneys and other roof details
• Diagnosing and repairing flat-roof leaks
• Handling smaller, detail-oriented projects rather than large commercial production roofs
• Working with our project managers and roofing crews to ensure every project meets Kaufman Roofing's quality standards
• Maintaining a clean, professional and safe jobsite

Pay & Benefits

• $25–$40/hour, based on experience
• Paid Time Off
• Health Insurance
• Dental Insurance
• 401(k)
• Company Phone
• Full-time employment with an established, family-owned company
• A work environment where quality and craftsmanship matter
• Opportunities to grow with the company
