Epoxy Installer Partner

Description

You're great at epoxy. You shouldn't also have to be the marketer, the bookkeeper and the guy answering leads at 9 pm. San Diego Epoxy & Concrete is looking for one epoxy pro to partner with: you run the installs, I'll run everything else, and we build the company together. This isn't a sub gig or a job.

Who I'm looking for:

A hungry, ambitious epoxy installer who's always wanted to go out on their own but didn't know where to start, or already has and is tired of chasing work. You've run installs yourself and can take a job from A to Z: measure, prep, install and final walkthrough. You're either:

  • Licensed: an active CSLB license in good standing that covers floor coatings (D-12, C-15, C-33, D-6 or similar), or
  • Experienced, not licensed yet: 4+ years of epoxy or concrete coating work you can document, which is what it takes to qualify for a CSLB license. We'll pay for your licensing.
Either way, you:
  • Know your prep: diamond grinding, moisture testing, crack and joint repair
  • Install flake, polyaspartic, metallic or polished concrete systems (garage floors are the core of the business)
  • Take pride in your work and show up when you say you will
  • Good with homeowners and people
  • Have run a crew (major bonus)
What I bring: a turnkey business. You show up and install.

  • A calendar full of booked estimates, starting week one. I bring the customers; you do what you're already great at.
  • A proven business partner. I'm Aidan, a serial entrepreneur. I've built one business to seven figures in revenue and several more to six figures in the software and marketing agency world.
  • An agency-level marketer running our marketing. I've run a marketing agency. You get that in-house, as your partner, with no agency fees. If you've ever paid an agency $3,000 a month and gotten nothing, you know why this is different. I'm not a vendor. I'm your partner, and I only win when you do.
  • Funding for equipment, tools and growth: equipment and tools if you need them, and access to investors if and when we start opening multiple locations.
  • The whole business side, handled: marketing, front-end sales, booking, follow-up, accounting and systems. You do the on-site measure and quote, since you know the floor. You never chase a lead or an invoice again.
  • Website and web presence already built out: a site built to rank for the epoxy searches San Diego homeowners make (see it at sandiegoepoxyandconcrete.com), listed across dozens of San Diego directories, with SEO work every week.
  • Paid ads on every channel (on my dime): Google Ads, Google Local Services Ads, and Meta ads on Facebook and Instagram
  • Google Business Profile: launching this month and built to rank in the Google Maps top 3, with real reviews from every job
  • Guerrilla marketing on Reddit and in local communities, where homeowners ask who to hire
  • CRM Build Out with the customer's info, photos and job details in one place before you show up. Built to scale to multiple locations.
Most epoxy companies in San Diego are great installers with average marketing, or none at all. We'll dominate digital marketing presence. What I need is the right partner on fulfillment.

How it works:

No buy-in. You get paid on every floor from week one. We start with a trial on real booked jobs: they run under your license, so you collect the revenue and pay me an agreed percentage on the jobs I bring in. If I don't fill your calendar, you've lost nothing. After the trial there are two real routes: keep that arrangement for good, or become partners with equity in the company. We'll choose the one that makes the most sense for both of us.

Long term:

If all goes well, I'd love to grow this into a multi-location business across SoCal. I'll build the systems that scale (marketing, sales, CRM, review management and social media), and you'll run fulfillment and the crews.

Interested? Text or call (925) 520-5858, or reply to this post with:

1. Your name and where you're based
2. Your CSLB license number, or how many years you've been installing
3. Photos of 3 floors you've done
4. Brief background on you and why you're interested
