Pay Rate: $25-$30/hr. Depending on experience
Schedule: Monday- Friday, 8am – 5pm.

Job Overview

We are seeking strong, dependable, and physically capable Equipment Installation Technicians to assist with the assembly and installation of Cooling Distribution Units (CDUs) in a warehouse or industrial setting.
This is a project-based opportunity requiring a commitment from start to finish. Prior HVAC, mechanical installation, maintenance, or equipment assembly experience is highly preferred. All necessary tools will be provided on-site, and heavy equipment will be transported using wheeled equipment whenever possible. Comprehensive instructions and training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Unbox and safely transport equipment, materials, and accessories from the receiving dock or warehouse to designated installation areas.
• Assemble and install Cooling Distribution Units according to detailed instructions.
• Assist with piping, securing, connecting, and positioning equipment.
• Perform leak tests and report any issues to the technical team or supervisor.
• Assist qualified technical personnel with properly filling system coolant.
• Follow all installation procedures, safety requirements, and supervisor instructions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Handle equipment and materials carefully to prevent damage.
• Work cooperatively with technicians, supervisors, and other project team members.
• Commit to the full duration of the installation project.

Qualifications

• Previous experience with HVAC systems, equipment installation, mechanical assembly, maintenance, or related work is preferred.
• Ability to learn quickly and follow detailed mechanical instructions accurately.
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Professional conduct and the ability to work respectfully with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be willing and able to complete the entire project.

Physical Requirements

• Must provide and consistently wear required steel-toed boots.
• Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to climb ladders and work in elevated areas.
• Ability to work comfortably in confined spaces.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive physical tasks for extended periods.
• Ability to safely handle equipment and materials in a warehouse or industrial environment.

Safety and Compliance

• Follow all site-specific occupational safety procedures.
• Comply with workplace conduct policies and personal protective equipment requirements.
• Follow all directions provided by the supervisor and technical team.
• Immediately report unsafe conditions, equipment damage, injuries, or installation concerns.
