Equipment Mechanic

We are looking to fill a mechanic position in our Lynnwood location.

Wage Range: $26.00 - $30.00+ per hour Depending on Experience

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Perform equipment inspections to determine Rental Ready status
• Perform routine and preventative scheduled maintenance such as oil changes & services.
• Identify, diagnose & repair potential problems with all types of equipment & operating systems such as engines & drivetrain including mechanical, electrical & hydraulic.
• Complete basic and advanced technical training as assigned
• Maintain a culture of safety & participate in all safety meetings
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Basic Knowledge & Competencies

• Excellent customer service skills
• Experience and knowledge in repair work for heavy equipment, machinery and other types of equipment utilized in the construction, manufacturing or distribution industry.
• Excellent mechanical aptitude, technical knowledge and problem- solving skills

Previous Experience & Education

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Mechanical or trade school certificate beneficial
• Valid driver's license required

Physical Requirements

• Standing, walking, lifting, twisting and bending on a frequent basis
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
• Must furnish own tools
