Equipment Operator

Standard Rock LTD is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team for civil earthwork and underground utility projects in the Reno area. We are looking for a reliable professional who takes pride in safety, efficiency, and equipment care.

Responsibilities

Safely and efficiently operate heavy machinery, including excavators, dozers, wheel loaders, compactors, and water trucks.
Execute precision grading, trenching, backfilling, and general earthmoving tasks.
Conduct daily pre-shift equipment inspections and perform routine preventative maintenance.
Work closely with the Foreman and ground crews to ensure production goals are met safely.

Requirements

Proven field experience operating heavy equipment on civil construction, earthmoving, or underground utility sites.
Strong understanding of grade reading, site safety protocols, and OSHA standards.
Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic.
