Erosion Control Crew Lead – TerraSet, LLC (Charlotte area)

TerraSet is a growing erosion control and land stabilization company serving the Charlotte region, NC/SC Piedmont and Upstate SC. We’re known for fast response and clear communication, and we need a Crew Lead who runs a tight, dependable crew.

What you’ll do

Lead a field crew on silt fence installation and maintenance, hydroseeding, seed and straw, sod, construction entrances, concrete washouts and safety fence
Read site plans and erosion control details and lay out the work
Keep the crew safe, productive and on schedule
Communicate with superintendents, inspectors and the office
Handle repairs and maintenance after rain events and inspections
Take care of trucks, trailers, equipment and materials

Requirements

At least 2 years of hands-on erosion control experience (required)
Experience leading or running a crew
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Dependable: you show up on time, every day
Able to do physical work outdoors in all seasons

Preferred

Bilingual English/Spanish

Experience on NCDOT or commercial sites
Erosion control certifications (for example, NCDOT Level I/II)
Experience towing trailers or running a hydroseeder.
