Estimator

Job description: National painting company located in Charlotte, NC is currently looking for an Estimator!

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Relationship driven, develop relationships with owners, clients, vendors, employees.
• Provide pricing on projects(material/equipment/labor), familiar with job site visits and or project drawings.
• Order material and equipment for projects.
• Schedule and coordinate all work with field management.
• Review project, contract, extra work orders and billing documents.
• Monitor job cost reports regularly.
• Attend sales team meetings and staff meetings.
• High level of computer skills needed, strong communication skills, strong organizational skills.
• Excellent people skills.
• Familiar with On-Center On Screen Takeoff a plus.

Qualifications, Education and Experience:

• Someone who has superintendent or shop experience is a plus but not mandatory.
• Knowledgeable in commercial painting, blueprint reading, computer proficiency, estimating and sales
• Ability to work independently
• Clean driving record needed

Experience Required:
• Previous experience (2+ years) Estimating/Project Managing in Painting/Construction field
