REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Professional, hands-on experience working on air-cooled Porsche vehicles
Strong European automotive repair and diagnostic experience
Familiarity with the mechanical systems, service requirements, and common issues found in classic Porsche models
Ability to diagnose and repair vehicles accurately and efficiently
Ability to work independently while communicating and collaborating with the rest of the team
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Ability to commute to Arvada, Colorado 80002

Dealership experience and ASE certifications are preferred, but proven experience, sound judgment, and quality workmanship matter most.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Diagnose, service, and repair European vehicles

Perform maintenance and repairs on modern Porsche and other European performance and luxury vehicles
Complete engine, drivetrain, fuel, ignition, electrical, steering, suspension, brake, heating, and air-conditioning repairs
Interpret repair orders and perform authorized work according to company and manufacturer standards
Accurately estimate labor time and identify required parts
Use diagnostic equipment, service information, and hands-on testing to troubleshoot vehicle concerns
Perform thorough quality-control inspections before vehicles are returned to customers
Clearly document findings, recommendations, work performed, and test-drive results
Communicate with service advisors and fellow technicians throughout the repair process
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
Participate in ongoing training and stay current with automotive technology and repair procedures
Ask for assistance when needed and share knowledge with the team

Has genuine experience and confidence working on air-cooled Porsches

Understands the responsibility involved in servicing classic and enthusiast-owned vehicles
Can diagnose problems instead of simply replacing parts

Stays organized and completes documentation properly

Cares about fixing vehicles correctly the first time

OUR STORY

Arvada German Garage was founded in 2009 by Mike Solis, a former dealership technician and former pit crew member for IndyCar legend Michael Andretti during his Newman/Haas Racing years.

After working in both dealership and professional racing environments, Mike set out to build a shop centered on honesty, craftsmanship, and a genuine passion for European engineering.

Arvada Motorsports was launched in 2022 as that vision’s performance-focused extension, specializing in Porsche—including classic air-cooled cars—along with Maserati, Alfa Romeo, and other European performance and luxury vehicles.

As we continue to grow, we’re looking for the right technician to become part of our next chapter.
