Pro Source Excavation – Excavation Laborer and/ or Operator

We're a growing earthwork company looking to hire for two positions, a dependable laborer and operator. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in doing quality work, and wants to build a career in excavation. No prior excavation experience is required - we're willing to train the right person.

About the Positions

• Full-time, Monday–Friday, typically 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM but hours may vary
• Work is primarily outdoors and can involve physically demanding tasks
• Assist excavation crew with residential and commercial excavation projects
• Wage depends on experience

Laborer

• Typical responsibilities
• Assist with excavation, grading, trenching, and site preparation
• Shovel, rake, move materials, and perform general labor
• Assist equipment operators and crew members
• Help with loading/unloading materials and maintaining a clean, organized job site
• Follow job site safety procedures and company policies
• Perform basic maintenance and care of tools and equipment
• Communicate effectively with crew members and supervisors
• Other duties as needed to support the team
• Occasional travel to job sites outside the local area may be required, with per-dem provided when applicable
• Opportunity to learn and operate excavation equipment as skills develop

Operator

• Typical responsibilities
• Perform excavation, grading, trenching, and site preparation
• Pipe laying – installation of wet & dry utilities
• Perform quality control checks to verify work installed
• Perform layout and material staging operations
• Follow job site safety procedures and company policies
• Communicate effectively with crew members and supervisors
• Other duties as needed to support the team
• Occasional travel to job sites outside the local area may be required, with per-dem provided when applicable

Qualifications

• Previous equipment operating experience is a plus
• Must be able to perform physical labor for extended periods
• Must be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn
• Ability to follow directions and work well as part of a team
• Must be able to safely lift and carry materials as required
• Valid driver’s license
• Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening
