Excavation Laborers (Lane County)

Emerald Excavating, established in 1962, is a family-owned excavation company based in Eugene, OR and serving all of Lane County. We specialize in commercial and residential site prep / earthwork, septic systems, and material hauling.

Entry Level Position. Experience preferred but not required for the right person wanting to learn the commercial/residential excavation and site prep trade from the bottom up. You will perform manual labor for grading, installation of septic systems, drains, and grade checking. Assist with daily maintenance and cleaning of equipment.

Come grow with us. Our expectation would be for you to learn skills listed and have the opportunity to move up in the company becoming a Heavy Equipment Operator and/or CDL Dump Truck Driver.

Have a Class A CDL or willingness to obtain CDL with our help.

Pre-employment drug testing and driver's background check required.

Compensation: $24 - $27 per Hour DOE

Additional Duties and Responsibilities:

• Loading, binding and unloading construction equipment
• Using laser levels
• Heavy lifting and bending
• Manual labor for pipe laying and grading
