EXCAVATOR (SEWER AND WATER SERVICE REPIAR)

EXPERIENCED EXCAVATION EQUIPMENT OPERATOR – TOP PAY – IMMEDIATE START

Leo’s Sewer & Drain is hiring an experienced equipment operator / excavation crew leader for residential and commercial sewer and water excavation projects.

We are looking for someone with real excavation experience who can safely operate equipment, lead a crew, and take responsibility for a job from excavation through completion.

Experience should include:

Residential and commercial sewer and water excavation

Excavating and repairing sewer and water service lines
Working in the public right-of-way, including streets, sidewalks, curb and gutter areas
Operating excavators, mini excavators, skid steers, loaders, and related equipment
Understanding trench safety, shoring, underground utilities, and safe excavation practices
Working around existing gas, electric, water, sewer, and communication utilities
Understanding sewer and water pipe, fittings, connections, tools, and materials
Reading utility markings and understanding depths and locations
Working with city inspectors and understanding the permit and inspection process
Preparing work for inspection and communicating professionally with inspectors
Proper backfill, compaction, and jobsite restoration
Running an excavation crew efficiently and keeping employees and the public safe
Keeping the jobsite organized and equipment properly maintained

This is NOT an entry-level equipment operator position. We need someone who understands underground sewer and water excavation and can confidently lead a crew.
