Heavy Equipment Operator – Excavator / Dozer

Job Description:

We are seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Operators with a strong background operating excavators and dozers for an upcoming construction project in the New Braunfels / Seguin area.

Candidates must be experienced, safety-conscious, and capable of operating equipment efficiently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

Operate excavators and bulldozers for excavation, grading, trenching, and site preparation.

Perform earthmoving, backfilling, and rough/final grading.

Work safely around underground utilities, structures, and other equipment.

Conduct daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks.

Follow site plans, grade stakes, and supervisor instructions.

Assist with additional jobsite duties as needed.

Requirements:

Proven experience operating excavators and/or dozers on commercial or civil construction projects.

Experience with earthwork, site development, and grading.

Ability to work independently and safely.

Reliable transportation to and from the jobsite.

Must have all required PPE (hard hat, safety vest, safety glasses, steel-toe boots).

Equipment certifications are a plus.

Experience operating skid steers, loaders, or backhoes is a plus.
