The Little Dog Lounge is hiring a qualified pet groomer to join our busy team. We would like to add a third person to join the grooming staff! We have been open for 11 incredibly successful years and plan on continuing our great services to you. We have recently remodeled our club and have a desire to bring in some fresh new faces with forward thinking skills. Looking for those who are engaged and educated on modern grooming skills along with a desire for possible continuing education. We are offering a very competitive compensation plan for you. The commission compensation plan is a 50/50 split. Others in the area only offer 35% split to you. MUST have full grooming experience. We will provide all your grooming clients for you! That means no searching for clients on your own, we will do all your laundry, booking, scheduling, etc.. you just have to come in and make your pups beautiful! Seeking a fabulous experienced groomer with a lot of self confidence in their skills, punctuality is a must, pride in their work, easily able to communicate with clients and co workers, and an all around positive attitude. You will be working along side 2-3 staff members that run the daily operations and client interactions. You will also be working along side or opposite another groomer. You will have a very quiet and private area to work in. Our facility is extremely tidy and has a very well known and respected reputation. Looking for a full time and a part time groomer to join our team! You will love it here! Our company is planning on expanding one day soon, so we want to better prepare ahead. We are currently booked out two weeks and prefer our clients to not wait that long. We add new clients daily so we plan on being proactive to continue to build daily.We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pet Groomer to join our team. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for providing professional grooming services to our furry clients. This includes bathing, trimming, and styling their fur, as well as ensuring their overall well-being during the grooming process. If you have a passion for animals and a keen eye for detail, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Perform grooming services such as bathing, brushing, and styling pets' fur
- Trim nails, clean ears, and brush teeth as needed
- Assess the condition of pets' coats and skin, and recommend appropriate grooming treatments
- Handle pets with care and ensure their safety throughout the grooming process
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the grooming area
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing clients' concerns and answering questions about grooming services
- Keep accurate records of each pet's grooming history
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Pet Groomer or in a related field preferred
- Knowledge of different breeds and their specific grooming requirements
- Familiarity with grooming tools and equipment
- Ability to handle pets of all sizes and temperaments with patience and compassion
- Excellent communication skills to interact with pet owners effectively
- Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality grooming results
