Experience Carpenter

We are seeking at least two dependable and experienced finish carpenters for permanent, full-time positions. We are looking for skilled carpenters who specialize in finish work but are also capable of handing a wide range of residential carpentry, remodeling, repair and exterior construction tasks.
The ideal candidate takes pride in high quality workmanship, can work independently, and is comfortable working at heights using pump jacks, ladders and scaffolding with proper safety equipment. Must have at least 5 years experience as a carpenter.

Our job sites are located throughout Massachusetts primarily in the Middlesex county, Worcester country and the Greater Boston area. We typically work within 50 mile radius of Dracut, MA. Reliable transportation is required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed interior and exterior finish carpentry
• Install doors, windows, trim, baseboards, crown molding, cabinets and hardware
• Complete framing, remodeling, repairs and general carpentry work
• Install and repair siding, fascia, soffits, exterior trim and related components
• Set up, use and dismantle pump jacks systems safely
• Work from ladders, scaffolding, pump jacks, and elevated work areas
• Read measurements, plans, sketches, and work orders
• Identify problems and recommend practical repair solutions
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
• Work professionally around tenants, property managers, and other trades

Required Qualifications

• At least 5 years of professional carpentry experience preferred
• Strong finish-carpentry skills and attention to detail
• Ability to perform both rough and finish carpentry
• Experience using pump jacks
• Comfortable and capable of working safely at heights
• Experience with ladders, scaffolding, power tools, and common carpentry equipment
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to lift and carry construction materials
• Ability to work a consistent 40-hour week
• Basic hand tools preferred
• Professional references preferred

Compensation and Employment

• $32-36 per hour, based on experience and demonstrated ability
• Permanent W-2 position
• Forty hours per week
• Year-round work
• Overtime opportunities may be available
