Experienced Auto Mechanic Needed – Full-Time – Immediate Hire

We are a busy, growing independent auto repair shop in Hickory Hills, IL looking for an experienced Master Automotive Technician to join our team.

We’re looking for a technician who can work independently, accurately diagnose problems, and complete repairs efficiently. We service both domestic and foreign vehicles and need someone who takes pride in quality workmanship.

Responsibilities:

• Engine diagnostics and repair
• Engine rebuilds and engine swaps
• Suspension and steering repairs
• Brake system repairs
• Electrical diagnostics and repair
• Heating and A/C diagnostics and repair
• Cooling system repairs
• Drivability diagnostics
• Preventive maintenance and general repairs
• Perform repairs in a timely and professional manner

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of professional automotive repair experience preferred
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with engine replacements and major mechanical repairs
• Must own a complete set of personal hand tools and specialty tools. The shop provides major equipment such as lifts, diagnostic equipment, and other large shop tools.
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable, motivated, and able to work independently
