Motor-Speed is an owner-operated dealership and repair shop looking for an experienced motorcycle technician.

Our business is shifting toward motorcycles, which make up approximately 90% of our incoming inventory. We need someone who can confidently inspect, diagnose, service and repair bikes—and prepare them for sale.

We still have cars in stock and occasional automotive work, so car repair experience is a plus. Strong motorcycle repair skills are the priority.

THE WORK

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and running issues on motorcycles
• Perform routine service, including oil changes, brakes, tires, chains and sprockets, batteries and fluid changes
• Inspect incoming bikes, identify needed repairs and prepare inventory for sale
• Complete more involved repairs based on your experience and ability
• Research repair procedures, identify parts and help with parts sourcing
• Document completed work and communicate repair needs and progress clearly
• Safely move motorcycles and keep the work area clean and organized
• Occasionally service or repair cars and other powersports vehicles

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Professional motorcycle repair experience or substantial hands-on experience beyond basic maintenance
• Ability to diagnose problems methodically and verify that repairs are complete
• Comfortable using service manuals, researching unfamiliar issues and following repair procedures
• Able to manage assigned work independently and communicate when you need information or support
• Dependable, organized and attentive to detail
• Comfortable using a computer or phone to document and track work
• Valid driver’s license and ability to safely maneuver motorcycles around the shop
• M1 motorcycle endorsement preferred

Experience with electrical troubleshooting, fuel injection, carburetors, dirt bikes or European motorcycles is a plus. Automotive diagnostic and repair experience is also welcome.
