Job Overview

Duties
Perform automotive structural repairs, including dent removal, sheet metal work, and welding repair using MIG welding and automotive welding equipment.
Conduct auto body repairs such as panel replacement, alignment, and fabrication using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication repair techniques.
Prepare surfaces through sanding, sanding tools, and automotive cosmetic repair to ensure a smooth finish before painting.
Apply auto paint using airless paint spraying techniques and perform automotive body refinishing to achieve a high-quality appearance.
Install automotive parts including auto glass, bumpers, trim pieces, and other components with precision.
Conduct auto restoration projects and detailed vehicle detailing to enhance overall vehicle appearance.
Use automotive parts installation skills along with auto estimating knowledge to determine repair scope and ensure efficient workflow.
Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks as needed, including heavy lifting and basic mechanical troubleshooting.
Requirements
Proven experience as an automotive body technician or in a similar role within a dealership or collision center environment.
Strong knowledge of auto body repair techniques, sheet metal fabrication, welding repair (including MIG welding), and automotive structural repair.
Familiarity with auto painting processes such as auto body refinishing and airless paint spraying equipment.
Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, soldering, and automotive cosmetic repair methods.
Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and automotive parts installation.
Ability to work efficiently with welding equipment, fabricating tools, and assembly techniques in a fast-paced setting.
Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality craftsmanship in auto restoration and cosmetic repairs.
Dealership experience is preferred but not mandatory; candidates should demonstrate proficiency in working as an automotive body technician or painter.
Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods while maintaining safety standards.

Responsabilidades

Instalar piezas automotrices, incluyendo vidrios, parachoques, molduras y otros componentes, con precisión.
