Experienced Automotive Painter – Full Time (Pasadena)

Busy, professional auto body shop in Pasadena is looking for an experienced Automotive Painter for a full-time, long-term position.

This is NOT an entry-level or training position. Minimum 5 years of professional automotive refinishing experience required.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and can handle the complete refinishing process from prep through final polish.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years professional automotive painting experience
• Strong color matching and blending skills
• Experienced spraying basecoat and clearcoat
• Able to tint and adjust colors when necessary
• Axalta / Cromax experience strongly preferred
• Must be able and willing to prep your own work
• Must be experienced with sanding, masking and proper paint preparation
• Must color sand and polish/buff your own work
• Must be able to deliver a clean, finished product without relying on a separate prepper or polisher
• High standard for quality and attention to detail
• Comfortable working on all makes and models
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
• Valid driver’s license required
• Must be looking for a long-term, full-time position

Important: This position is for a hands-on painter. You will be expected to prep and polish your own jobs when needed. Please only apply if you’re comfortable doing all stages of the refinishing process and doing them at a professional level.
