# Experienced Automotive Technician / Mechanic – Full Time

Established independent automotive repair shop in Montgomery County, MD, is looking for an experienced, reliable, full-time automotive technician for a long-term position.

We service a wide variety of makes and models and are also a licensed Maryland State Inspection Station.

### Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional automotive repair experience; 5–10+ years preferred.
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills.
• Must be comfortable with electrical diagnostics and drivability problems.
• Experience with brakes, suspension, steering, cooling systems, engine repairs, timing components, and general automotive repairs.
• Ability to diagnose and complete repairs independently.
• Must have own tools.
• Dependable, responsible, and able to work well with others.
• Maryland State Inspector license strongly preferred, or willingness and eligibility to obtain one.

### Position Details

• Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM.
• No weekends.
• Year-round employment.
• Flat-rate compensation with guaranteed weekly minimum. Or salary.
• Compensation depends on experience, qualifications, and diagnostic abilities.
• Established shop with a steady customer base.
• Friendly, professional working environment.
