If you're an experienced technician who already has a good job, you're actually the person we'd like to hear from.

We're a well-established independent automotive repair shop in the Old Town Scottsdale / North Tempe area looking for experienced automotive technicians.

This isn't an entry-level opening, and we're not trying to hire the first person who answers an ad. We're interested in experienced A-level/master to B-level technicians who are good at what they do, take pride in repairing vehicles correctly, and are looking for a place where they could see themselves staying for the long term.

You may already be well employed. That's fine. In fact, we expect some of the best technicians we could hire are already working somewhere else.

ABOVE-AVERAGE PAY — WITHOUT YOUR ENTIRE INCOME RIDING ON ONE WEEK'S PRODUCTION

We offer competitive, above-average compensation structured around guaranteed income plus performance incentives.

Your experience and abilities establish your value, and strong production should be rewarded. At the same time, we don't believe an experienced professional's entire income should fluctuate because of circumstances outside his or her control.

Our compensation structure provides income stability while still rewarding technicians who are productive and perform at a high level.

If you've developed strong diagnostic skills, can produce quality work efficiently and have proven yourself over the years, we're willing to pay appropriately for that ability.

DON'T GIVE UP YEARS OF PTO JUST TO CHANGE JOBS

We think this is one of the biggest obstacles good technicians face when considering another employer.

If you've spent 5, 10 or 15 years with your current shop or dealership, you've earned more than a paycheck. You've accumulated vacation time, benefits and seniority.

Changing jobs shouldn't automatically send you back to year one.

For qualified experienced technicians, we're willing to recognize prior industry tenure when establishing PTO, including the possibility of up to 13 days of PTO in your first year.

We're not promising an automatic year-for-year transfer. We are saying that if you've spent years building your career and tenure somewhere else, we're willing to take that into consideration when putting together an employment offer.

You worked years to earn that experience. We don't think it should reset to zero simply because you change employers.

WHAT WE WORK ON

We're a full-service independent repair shop with an established customer base, multiple bays and lifts, professional equipment and experienced people.

Most of our work is on American and Asian vehicles along with common German models.

European experience is helpful, but it isn't required.

The work includes general mechanical repair, brakes, steering and suspension, cooling systems, A/C, maintenance, engine performance, drivability, electrical and check-engine-light diagnosis, inspections and normal automotive repair.

For higher-level technicians, diagnostic ability is particularly valuable to us.

We want technicians who know how to test a system, understand the results and determine what's actually wrong with the vehicle—not simply replace parts until the problem goes away.

YOUR TOOLS — AND OUR TOOLS

Experienced technicians should have their own normal professional hand tools appropriate to their experience and skill level.

The shop invests in the equipment that belongs in the shop. We provide professional scan tools, diagnostic equipment, major specialty tools and larger shop equipment necessary to diagnose and repair today's vehicles properly.

We want our technicians to have access to the right equipment to do the job correctly.

WHO WE'D LIKE TO TALK TO

You should have several years of professional automotive repair experience, your own normal professional hand tools and a valid driver's license.

ASE certifications are valued, but they aren't the only measure of a technician.
