Experienced Cabinet & Countertop Installer Wanted

Experienced Cabinet & Countertop Installer Wanted — Commercial Work, Southern California

Who We Are

California Woodworking, Inc. is a second-generation family business out of Oxnard, CA. We've been fabricating and installing custom commercial cabinetry, millwork, and countertops since 1989 — and we're one of the top commercial cabinet shops in Ventura County. We do real commercial work: medical offices, schools, banks, government buildings, retail — no residential, no union.

What You'll Do
-Install custom commercial cabinetry, casework, and architectural millwork on job sites across Southern California (Pasadena, Los Angeles, Cerritos, Van Nuys, Encino, Torrance, Redondo Beach, Burbank)
-Install countertops — solid surface (Corian), HPL laminate, melamine
-Work directly with project managers and GCs to coordinate site access, schedule, and installation sequence
-Handle field measuring, adjustments, and quality checks on-site
-Occasional prevailing wage projects (prevailing wage rates apply on those jobs)

What We're Looking For
-Minimum 5 years commercial installation experience required
-Proven experience installing commercial cabinetry and/or countertops — this is not a training position
-OSHA 10 certified (or willing to get certified — we can help)
-Reliable transportation, vehicle insurance, and valid driver's license
-Must have your own tools
-Comfortable working on commercial job sites with other trades
-Strong attention to detail and takes pride in the finish
-Team player — we're a small crew and everyone counts
-Prevailing wage / federal / state job site experience is a plus, not required

What We Offer
-Full-time position
-$28–$35/hr DOE — prevailing wage rates apply on applicable projects
-Mileage paid
-Consistent work across Southern California
-Tight-knit team — family business feel, not a revolving door
-Work that you can actually be proud of
