Experienced Cabinet Maker – High-End Custom Cabinetry & Furniture
High-end custom cabinetry and furniture shop located in Oakland looking for a highly skilled, experienced Cabinet Maker to join our team for long-term employment.
This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for someone who is genuinely operating at a Journeyman level or higher and has extensive experience building high-end, modern custom cabinetry and furniture.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional experience in a custom cabinetry or high-end woodworking shop
- Strong ability to read and build from shop drawings
- Ability to independently generate accurate cut lists and determine material requirements
- Extensive experience building high-end, modern custom cabinetry
- Strong understanding of cabinet construction, joinery, hardware, and installation requirements
- Comfortable working with modern professional woodworking machinery and equipment
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently with a high level of attention to detail
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work 40 hours a week and lift up to 50lbs.
- Dependable, organized, and able to take responsibility for your work
- Mature, professional attitude and strong work ethic
- Journeyman-level skills or higher
