About the Opportunity
Tucker & Associates Staffing is hiring a skilled Painter / Finisher for a high-end custom cabinet and
millwork shop in Santa Rosa. This role is about producing flawless, repeatable finishes on luxury
cabinetry — the kind of work where the finish is the first thing a client notices.
Key Responsibilities
• Prep wood and veneer surfaces to a high standard — sanding, filling, and cleaning for a flaw-free
base.

• Spray both paint and stain finishes using conversion varnish and waterborne finishing systems.
• Match color, sheen, and texture to approved samples and specs, and hold consistency across a full

project and under both shop and daylight conditions.

• Produce even, defect-free finishes on doors, panels, and casework.
• Maintain spray equipment, guns, and the booth; keep a clean, safe finishing area.
• Coordinate with the production team to keep finished work on schedule.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional cabinet, millwork, or fine wood finishing experience.
• Proven spray-finishing skill, with hands-on experience in both conversion varnish and waterborne

systems.

• Experience with both paint and stain finishes.
• Strong color- and sheen-matching ability.

• Meticulous attention to detail, reliable, and a clear communicator.
