Experienced Residential Carpenter

Local construction company is seeking an experienced, dependable carpenter to join our team on Maui. We specialize in high-quality residential construction and remodeling, with an emphasis on craftsmanship, attention to detail, and a professional work environment.

The ideal candidate is reliable, motivated, easy to work with, and experienced in interior finish carpentry and general residential construction.

Primary responsibilities include:

Installing interior doors, jambs, casing, baseboards, and other finish trim
Cabinet installation and related finish work
Interior and exterior woodwork
Framing, blocking, and general carpentry
Remodeling and repair work
Reading plans, taking accurate measurements, and laying out work
Coordinating effectively with supervisors, subcontractors, and other crew members
Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe jobsite

Preferred qualifications:

Several years of residential carpentry experience

Strong interior trim and finish-carpentry skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic
Good communication and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and pride in workmanship
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Basic personal hand tools

This is a full-time employee position with compensation based on experience and ability. We are looking for someone interested in steady work and becoming a valued, long-term member of our team. Work sites are primarily in the Wailea/Makena area.
