Experienced Carpenter – Residential Remodeling

We are a general contracting company specializing in high-quality residential remodels. We’re seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our team. This role involves cutting, fabricating, and installing wood and other materials based on project specifications. Our ideal candidate is highly skilled, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently while maintaining a commitment to safety and quality craftsmanship.

Responsibilities:

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to understand project requirements
Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials
Frame walls, build staircases, and install doors, windows, trim, and cabinetry
Install flooring, drywall, roofing, and other building components
Perform finish carpentry and detailed trim work
Complete drywall repairs and painting
Conduct site inspections and perform maintenance or repairs as needed
Coordinate with subcontractors and respond to change orders
Suggest improvements or alternate methods when needed
Skills & Requirements:

Proven experience as a carpenter, preferably in residential remodeling
Strong understanding of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials
Ability to read technical documents and drawings
Proficient with both power and hand tools
Familiarity with basic electrical, plumbing, and tile installation is a plus
Knowledge of building codes, OSHA safety standards, and job site protocols
Ability to problem-solve and adapt to changing job conditions
Must have a reliable vehicle, cell phone, and carpentry tools
Strong communication and math skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
