EXPERIENCED CARPENTER / FRAMER

Compensation: $28–$38 per hour, depending on experience

Location: Carson Valley / Douglas County and surrounding areas
Established local construction company is seeking a dependable, experienced Carpenter/Framer for full-time work. We are looking for someone with strong framing and general construction skills who takes pride in producing quality work, works well with a crew and understands job-site safety.
Responsibilities include:
Residential and light-commercial wood framing
Reading and working from plans, blueprints and specifications
Remodels and general carpentry
Siding, roofing and drywall installation
Finish carpentry as needed
Concrete forming and related construction work
Operating hand and power tools safely
Maintaining a clean, organized and safe job site
Working independently and as part of a crew
Qualifications:
Several years of professional carpentry and framing experience
Ability to accurately read plans and take measurements
Knowledge of standard construction methods and job-site safety
Must be dependable, punctual and able to work efficiently
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
Must be physically capable of lifting materials, climbing ladders and performing construction work throughout the day
OSHA 10 certification preferred
Must work well with supervisors, subcontractors and other crew members
