Tower Eight Staffing Solutions is hiring an experienced Carpenter Helper for commercial construction projects in the Tampa area.
We are looking for a dependable, experienced Carpenter Helper who has previous hands-on carpentry and construction experience. Candidates should be comfortable working alongside skilled carpenters, using tools, taking measurements, and completing assigned tasks with minimal supervision. Must have reliable transportation!
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist carpenters with commercial construction and carpentry work
- Measure and cut lumber and other building materials
- Assist with framing and general carpentry
- Assist with installing doors, hardware, blocking, and other materials
- Use tape measures accurately and perform basic layouts
- Safely operate common hand and power tools
- Carry, stage, and organize lumber, tools, and materials
- Assist with minor demolition as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow instructions from carpenters, foremen, and site supervisors
- Follow all jobsite safety requirements
