Compensation: Competitive pay based on experience

We are currently looking for experienced cement finishers to join our union (Local 780) for ongoing and upcoming projects in the NYC, Long Island, & Westchester area. If you take pride in quality workmanship and have solid experience working with concrete, we’d like to hear from you.

Job Responsibilities:

Forming, pouring, and finishing concrete
Sidewalks, curbs, slabs, and general flatwork
Screeding, floating, edging, and troweling
Reading basic site plans and measurements
Maintaining a clean and safe job site

Requirements:

Proven experience as a cement mason or concrete finisher
OSHA 30 Card required
SST Card required
Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions
Reliable transportation
Strong work ethic and ability to work with a team
Must be dependable and show up on time
Own basic hand tools
Social Security Card required

Preferred (but not required):

Experience with stamped or decorative concrete
Ability to set forms and grade
