Experienced Commercial Trim Carpenter – 1099 Subcontractor $30–$35/hr

We are seeking highly skilled Commercial Trim / Finish Carpenters for temporary commercial projects. We need seasoned pros who can read plans, execute precision millwork, and maintain a clean job site.

Responsibilities:

Accurately read and interpret architectural and commercial construction plans, blueprints, and shop drawings.

Install commercial-grade trim, casing, interior doors, hardware, wall protection, and custom architectural millwork.

Measure, cut (cope/miter), scribe, and fit trim materials to exact specification.

Work efficiently with minimal oversight on active commercial job sites.

Adhere strictly to commercial job site safety standards and cleanliness.

Requirements:

Proven ability to read and work directly from commercial plans and blueprints.

5+ years minimum experience required (10+ years strongly preferred) in commercial finish/trim carpentry.

Must operate as an independent 1099 subcontractor.

Must have your own full set of commercial finish tools, reliable transportation, and a valid driver’s license.

High attention to detail, strong reliability, and solid communication.

Position Details:

Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 / hour (1099)

Status: Temporary / Contract-based

Location: College Station, TX and surrounding areas (occasional regional travel as needed)
