Spa de Soleil, Inc., a cosmetic, personal care, and OTC product manufacturer, is looking for an experienced Compounder / Pre-Weigh Technician to join our production team.

🧪 What You’ll Be Doing

  • Accurately weigh, label, and stage raw materials according to batch records
  • Verify raw material names, lot numbers, expiration dates, and quantities
  • Compound cosmetic, personal care, and OTC products according to approved formulas
  • Operate mixing tanks, homogenizers, pumps, scales, and other production equipment
  • Follow required mixing speeds, temperatures, processing times, and order of addition
  • Perform and document in-process checks such as pH, viscosity, temperature, appearance, and batch yield
  • Complete batch records and production documentation accurately and legibly
  • Clean and sanitize equipment, utensils, tanks, and work areas
  • Follow all GMP, safety, sanitation, and contamination-control procedures
  • Communicate with Quality Control, Production, Warehouse, and Raw Materials teams
  • Immediately report material discrepancies, equipment issues, or unusual batch conditions
✅ What We’re Looking For
  • 2–3+ years of hands-on compounding and/or pre-weigh experience in cosmetics, personal care, OTC, pharmaceutical, food, or similar manufacturing
  • Experience reading formulas, batch records, and manufacturing instructions
  • Comfortable working with grams, kilograms, ounces, pounds, and basic production calculations
  • Experience using industrial scales and compounding equipment
  • Understanding of GMP, sanitation, traceability, and proper manufacturing documentation
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Sufficient English to understand formulas, labels, batch records, and safety instructions
⭐ A Plus, But Not Required
  • Experience manufacturing lotions, creams, cleansers, gels, oils, shampoos, conditioners, or OTC products
  • Experience with large mixing tanks, homogenizers, and transfer pumps
  • Forklift or pallet-jack experience
  • Bilingual English/Spanish
💪 Physical Requirements
This is a hands-on manufacturing position. Candidates must be able to:
  • Stand and walk for extended periods
  • Safely lift and move up to 50 lbs.
  • Bend, reach, climb steps, and work around manufacturing equipment
  • Wear required PPE, including gloves, safety glasses, masks, hair restraints, and protective clothing
  • Work around fragrances, powders, oils, and other cosmetic/manufacturing raw materials
