Experienced Concrete Finisher/ Cement Mason

Gerber Concrete Services is a family-owned concrete construction company serving Orange County for over 25 years. We are growing and looking to add an experienced Concrete Finisher / Cement Mason to our crew.

Responsibilities:
-Finish poured concrete using hand and power tools
-Screed, float, edge, joint and finish concrete surfaces
-Perform broom, trowel and other concrete finishes as required
-Assist with forming, grading and jobsite preparation
-Work on driveways, patios, walkways, foundations, pool decks and other residential and commercial concrete projects
-Read elevations and follow project specifications
-Maintain tools and equipment
-Work efficiently with foremen and other crew members to complete projects on schedule
-Follow company safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized jobsite

Qualifications:
-Previous professional concrete finishing experience required
-Strong knowledge of concrete placement and finishing techniques
-Able to finish concrete independently and work efficiently during pours
-Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, bending and working outdoors
-Dependable and able to arrive on time
-Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
-Able to work well as part of a crew
-Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
Bobcat/skid steer experience is a plus
