Are you a detail-oriented, knowledgeable professional with proven experience estimating aluminum projects? We’re looking for an experienced estimator who can accurately evaluate project requirements, prepare competitive estimates, and help drive successful results for our company.

Requirements:

• Must have 5+ years of estimating experience, preferably in the aluminum or construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of aluminum products, materials, installation methods, and construction practices.
• Proven ability to read and interpret architectural plans, drawings, and specifications.
• Experience preparing accurate material, labor, and project cost estimates.
• Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and prioritize effectively.
• Proficiency with estimating software, spreadsheets, and related computer programs.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work with customers, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Experience with aluminum windows, doors, railings, enclosures, storefronts, or similar products is a plus.
• Must be Tech Savvy or willing to learn in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

• Review plans, specifications, and project requirements to determine accurate estimates.
• Calculate material quantities, labor costs, equipment, subcontractor expenses, and other project costs.
• Prepare detailed and competitive proposals, bids, and quotations on the spot or within 24 hrs.
• Obtain and compare pricing from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Communicate with customers, contractors, architects, and project managers to clarify project details.
• Identify potential cost concerns, scope changes, and project risks.
• Maintain organized estimating records and follow up on submitted proposals.
• Support the sales and production teams throughout the project process.
• Contribute to company growth by helping secure profitable aluminum projects.
