Superior Dental Works is seeking an experienced Dental Equipment Repair & Installation Technician to join our growing team. We're looking for a self-motivated technician who can work independently, take pride in quality workmanship, and deliver exceptional service to our customers.

This is a hybrid position involving both field service at dental offices throughout Florida and in-house rebuilding, refurbishing, and testing of dental equipment in our Orlando facility.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair dental equipment in customer offices.
  • Install dental chairs, delivery units, lights, sterilizers, compressors, vacuums, X-ray equipment, and related systems.
  • Rebuild and refurbish dental equipment in our shop.
  • Disassemble equipment for painting and component refurbishment.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and equipment inspections.
  • Test equipment before delivery and installation.
  • Maintain accurate service documentation.
  • Assist with inventory and communicate parts requirements.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Assist with equipment deliveries and warehouse activities.
Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of dental equipment repair experience preferred.
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with equipment such as A-dec, Midmark, Belmont, Pelton & Crane, DentalEZ, DCI, Planmeca, Air Techniques, Tech West, Tuttnauer, SciCan, and similar manufacturers.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Professional communication and customer service skills.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds and safely move dental equipment.
  • Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented.
  • Positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
