EXPERIENCED Diesel Mechanic for Demolition Company (Fairfax)

Demolition Company in Fairfax currently seeking an experienced heavy equipment and commercial fleet diesel mechanic.

Job Description and Requirements:

• Assist Company with development and implementation of fleet management program
• Repair and maintenance of Road Tractors, Trailers, Roll-offs, Dump and Pick-up trucks
• Oversee management of daily tire inspection and maintenance
• Repair and maintenance of all various sized excavators and small equipment
• Advance knowledge of diagnostics, inspections and preventative maintenance
• Create preventative maintenance schedule and maintain records of all work performed
• Assist with road calls and perform required repairs
• Work with limited supervision in shop and jobsites
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. and work requires stooping, pushing, moving and reaching overhead
• Valid driver's license and good driving record; preferably CDL
• Must maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Work with Shop Assistant
• Proficient in basic computer skills including prior experience of using a fleet management software

Hours of Operation:

• Mon to Fri 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• 40 Hours guaranteed.
• 45 Hours + on average per week all year around
