Experienced Diesel Mechanic W/CDL

We are currently hiring an experienced Diesel Truck/Trailer and Forklift Mechanic to join our team. This position is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining semi trucks and trailers to ensure they remain safe, reliable, and DOT-ready. The ideal candidate should have strong mechanical knowledge and experience working with heavy-duty vehicles and forklifts.

This is a hands-on role that requires working with various tools, diagnostic equipment, and repair systems to keep equipment operating at peak performance.

Responsibilities

Maintain Equipment files
Perform routine maintenance and preventative service on semi trucks, trailers and forklifts
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
Repair or replace truck and trailer components as needed
Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment when required
Complete equipment repairs with a high level of accuracy and quality
Communicate with customers or management regarding repair status and recommended maintenance
Safely operate shop equipment such as forklifts, trucks and trailers
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Requirements

Previous experience as a diesel mechanic (minumum 3 years), truck mechanic, or trailer mechanic (Required)
Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
Experience with welding, fabrication, and basic electrical repairs preferred
Ability to lift heavy parts and perform physically demanding work
Ability to work independently and efficiently
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working on semi trucks and commercial trailers (Required) minimum 3 years
Knowledge of preventative maintenance programs
Familiarity with heavy-duty truck systems and components
