Experienced Diesel Technician / Heavy Duty Fleet Mechanic

Our shop team of mechanics, tire/lube techs, fabricator and fleet crew maintains, inspects and repairs dump trucks and trailers.

For a fleet of approximately 60 trucks, including Service Vehicles:

*Inspect, test, diagnose & repair electronic and mechanical engines and transmissions including Allison's — watching gauges, dials, or other indicators determining cause of operating errors, deciding the most effective path to correct, and completing the repair/tasks.
*Carry out repair and tune up adjustments on Cat and Mack engines from routine maintenance to complex rebuilds with the ability to determine the needed tools and replacement parts.
*Complete metal fabrication involving the use of air arch and wire feed machines.
*Maintain a complete and accurate computerized and/or written record of material, parts and work performed in detail.
*Accomplish related duties as assigned.

Requirements:
*Able to work second shift: 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., and overtime when needed.
*Provide own tools
*Employment conditioned on passing drug testing and WSP background check
*Able to work inside and outside
*Ability to adapt to a very active and changing environment
*Heavy truck experience is mandatory
