Experienced Residential Exterior Painter
Description
Experienced Exterior Painter – Strong #2 – $24–$26/Hour
Crash of Rhinos Painting is hiring two experienced residential exterior painters for full-time, year-round work in the Phoenix metro area.
This is not a crew leader position, and it is not an entry-level helper position. We are looking for strong number-two painters who can work alongside a crew leader, follow direction, and complete quality work without constant supervision.
Pay and Benefits
- $24–$26 per hour, depending on experience
- Full-time W-2 employment
- 40+ hours per week, year-round
- Paid weekly by direct deposit
- Paid time off
- 401(k) match
- Typical three-person crews
- No seasonal layoffs or slow periods
The Work
- Residential exterior repaints
- Proper prep and masking
- Spraying, brushing, and rolling
- Job sites throughout the Phoenix metro area
Recent Full-Time Experience Required
We are looking for painters who are currently working—or have recently worked—full time in residential exterior painting.
Occasional weekend jobs, side work, helping friends, or painting a few hours each month does not count as current full-time painting experience.
Painting is a physical trade. The speed, technique, and endurance required for full-time production work are different from occasional side jobs.
You should be comfortable working a full 40-hour week and performing professional exterior prep, masking, spraying, brushing, and rolling without needing to relearn the trade.
You May Be a Good Fit If You:
- Have recent, full-time residential exterior painting experience
- Know how to prep and mask properly
- Can spray, brush, and roll
- Work efficiently without cutting corners
- Follow the crew leader’s direction
- Show up every day, on time and ready to work
- Take pride in clean, professional-quality work
- Work well as part of a crew
We take care of good employees and provide an opportunity to build a long-term career.
However, we do not tolerate repeated call-offs, excuses, unnecessary drama, poor attitudes, or sloppy work.
If you are dependable, experienced, and take pride in your work, you can have a great career here. If you regularly miss work, need constant supervision, or cut corners on preparation and quality, this will not be a good fit.
Requirements

- Legal authorization to work in the United States
