Experienced Fleet Mechanic — All Repairs — Min. 10 Years

HELP WANTED — FLEET MECHANIC

We are a growing commercial vehicle rental company based in Wilton Manors operating a fleet of 17+ vehicles (scaling more and more each month) rented to drivers across Broward, Miami-Dade, and Palm Beach. We are bringing vehicle maintenance in-house and hiring one experienced mechanic to own it.

This is not a lube-tech position. You will be the only mechanic on site and must be able to handle ALL repairs independently — diagnostics, engine, brakes, suspension, steering, cooling, A/C, electrical, and general drivability across multiple makes (Toyota, Honda, Mazda, Ford, Dodge/Chrysler, Hyundai, Nissan). Body work skills are a plus.

REQUIREMENTS — READ BEFORE APPLYING:

• Minimum 10 years of hands-on automotive repair experience. Not negotiable.
• Must be able to diagnose and repair without supervision. You are the shop.
• Must have your own tools. (We will build out shop equipment over time — but you start with your own box.)
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Able to perform documented vehicle inspections to a set checklist and photograph/log every job — our fleet records are part of our legal compliance and every repair gets documented. Basic computer skills required for this.
• ASE certification is required and proven skill matters even more. You will demonstrate capability before hire.

WHAT THE JOB LOOKS LIKE:

• Intake inspections on vehicles entering the fleet (set criteria, documented)
• Preventive maintenance program — oil changes, brakes, tires, fluids on a fixed schedule
• Repair turnaround — our cars only earn when they're on the road, so downtime is the enemy
• Pre-rental and post-rental condition checks with photo documentation
• Updating vehicle records in our fleet management system
• Occasional offsite work (vehicle pickup, roadside assessment)

SCHEDULE & PAY:

• Full time, on-site at our Wilton Manors lot, flexible hours based on the days demand
• $25-$35/hr depending on demonstrated skill and experience
• Paid time off (negotiable)
• Steady, consistent volume — one fleet, one standard, no walk-in chaos
